I bought a 1977 Datsun 280Z off of Craigslist and needed it shipped to Los Angeles to have some work done on it. I was at a loss as to how to proceed. I found AmeriFreight online and looked at their reviews. I was already suspect about shipping companies regarding stories of how some would add charges to customers at delivery, and I was unsure of how a random shipping company would treat this nice car. The process was simple. I put my info into their site, then talked to Samantha Smith who went over the process and price. I was told the price and also that "I wouldn't have to pay a dollar more". It took just a couple days to find a driver to pick up the car who was able to get to Sioux Falls within four days. The driver showed up at the seller's house (a few hours late), and we were off. I was told the trip would take 4 days, and was given the driver's number who worked for Leona Logistics. He was responsive to my texts. His delivery in LA was on time and the car was received without any damage or problems. So, I bought a car unseen, hired an unknown driver through an online company, and had it delivered to a guy I've never met - and everything worked out great!Then, I hired Amerifreight to ship the car back to me in Arkansas which also worked out well. The car unfortunately had major issues, so I once again hired Amerifrieght to ship it to Texas to fix. They once again found a great driver. I'd use them again if I need to. Show more
