FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping your classic car using enclosed transport is a great option. Enclosed carriers add extra protection against weather, road hazards, and potential damage, ensuring your vehicle remains in excellent condition throughout the journey. AmeriFreight offers enclosed classic car transport options specially designed for the safe transport of classic and collectible cars.

While we recommend enclosed classic car transport for maximum protection, we understand that some customers prefer open carriers as a more budget-friendly option. If you choose an open carrier, our team takes extra steps to secure your vehicle and minimize exposure to the elements. Please note, however, that open carriers typically provide less protection than enclosed options.

At AmeriFreight, transporting a classic car involves a careful, step-by-step process. We start with a thorough inspection to document its condition, then load it using specialized equipment to prevent damage. Your vehicle is shipped via enclosed or open carrier based on your preference. Upon delivery, we perform a final inspection to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
