Do I have to be present at delivery?
Someone should be present at delivery. You are not required to be there, however it is strongly advised that if you are unable to be present, you have a representative present. The representative must be over the age of eighteen. Before signing the Bill of Lading, you or your representative must inspect the car and record any damage on it. Any new damage that occurred during shipping should be noted at delivery. If damage is not noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery, insurance claims will most likely be denied.
