AmeriFreight Review Policy

Good service and pricing

3rd time I have used this company due to good service and pricing. Samantha was very helpful.

Exceptionally Satisfied!

I didn't realize all the details/must know information in the vehicle transport business. However, Kaye & Amerifreight made this endeavor the most pleasant experience I've taken on without experience. I've never felt more comfortable after a 10 minute conversation with any business before, ever. Our vehicle pickup was earlier than we anticipated, less cost than was expected & delivered before the anticipated delivery date! Nothing less than fantastic or outstanding service! Look no further & call AMERIFREIGHT & MS. Kaye if u want the best in the business!

Responsive, clear, and easy to work with

We had a positive experience working with AmeriFreight to ship our vehicle from the west coast to the midwest. We worked with Whitney, who was responsive, clear, and easy to work with by email and over the phone. We had a fairly wide window for pickup, but AmeriFreight was able to find a carrier within just a few days, for only $150 more than the originally quoted Economy rate (which we didn't think was so bad, and $78 of that increase was the optional AFTA Standard Gap Coverage that we decided to purchase). Our car was delivered to its destination 4 days after pick up, in good shape. I realize experiences with different trucking services are likely to vary, but the driver from DIL Trucking did a very thorough inspection on both ends - though our car was picked up after dark, he wore a headlamp and used an app to note scratches and paint chips I had not even noticed before! There are lots of terrible reviews online for various auto shipping companies, but our experience with AmeriFreight was straightforward and got the job done with our car intact. Moving is unpleasant no matter how you look at it, but if we ever have to move and ship a vehicle again, we are likely to use AmeriFreight over other lower priced, more poorly reviewed companies.

IMPORTANT FACTS TO KNOW ABOUT AUTO TRANSPORT

Which auto transport reviews are important to consider?
Reviews and accreditation's for car shipping companies are the most important considerations for consumers. Do some research with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Google and check reviews from previous customers. A reliable and dependable auto transport company should at least be accredited with the BBB and have a high rating (A or higher). The BBB is a great independent business reliability evaluation board for auto transporters. Most auto transport review sites receive some compensation for their services from companies. As a result, sometimes reviewed companies pay for their rankings. Shipping your vehicle should be with a car shipping company you can trust.

Auto transport Carrier or Broker?
To ship a car without a broker is a calculated risk. The Auto Transport industry is regulated by using brokers to ensure that customers are not exploited by questionable Car Shipping Carriers. Auto Transport Brokers have been given the task to help and educate consumers to ensure that their carriers are licensed with the DOT and insured. Without a broker, consumers may run the risk of using an unreliable, uninsured and illegal carrier, which more often than not may leave one with a damaged vehicle and no form of recourse.

Car Shipping Insurance – Do I need Gap coverage?
It is true for all car shipping companies, including AmeriFreight, that your car will be 100% covered by a carrier’s insurance while it is loaded onto a truck. Unfortunately, what most brokers will not tell you is that often times there are exclusions with insurance. In some instances, a carrier’s insurance may fail to pay for damages to your vehicle, leaving you in a situation where you must revert to your own personal vehicle insurance. Consider auto transport companies that offer gap protection through the AFta PLAN. No car shipment should be without it and every car shipper should reconsider any company that do not offer gap protection for shipping vehicles.

What else should I know about auto shipping?
Auto shipping companies have pricing structures that include the distance, time frame, time of year and weight of car. Auto brokers consider the following, when estimating the cost to transport your auto: 1. Current location of the vehicle and the intended destination 2. Time frame – do you need to ship your vehicle urgently or do you have a little time to get your auto broker to find the best price 3.
